To uninstall Malwarebytes for Mac, you will need to find which version of Malwarebytes for Mac you have installed, then follow the instructions for your version.
Find your Malwarebytes for Mac version
- Open Malwarebytes for Mac.
- On the menu bar, click Malwarebytes.
- Click About Malwarebytes.
- An About Malwarebytes window appears with your Malwarebytes for Mac Version Information.

Uninstalling Malwarebytes for Mac v3.1 or later is done from the Help menu.

The file name of the uninstaller is Remove Malwarebytes.pkg. - Locate the downloaded file.
In most cases, downloaded files are saved to the Downloads folder. - Double-click Remove Malwarebytes.pkg.
- Click Continue.
- Click Install.
- Enter your password, then click Install Software.
The Malwarebytes for Mac Uninstaller runs and removes Malwarebytes for Mac from your computer. - When the uninstaller is finished, click Close.
- You can choose to keep the Malwarebytes for Mac Uninstaller or move it to the Trash.
